Alanya WaterPark
If you are staying in one of the
larger hotels, you may find it to have its own resident water park.
However, if this is not the case or you want to explore other
alternatives, there are several to choose from.

One of the best known
is Alanya WaterPark (Aquapark), close to Alanya Centrum and only 5
or 10 minutes walk from Cleopatra's beach. It is a reasonably large
well maintained complex offering a good range of facilities. There
are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. And, with Burger King in
the adjacent building, there should be no shortage of snacks to keep
you going throughout the day.

Trips to Alanya
WaterPark can often be arranged through your hotel or holiday
representative but you will normally find it cheaper to arrange your
own transport.

When you arrive you
will be given a pass which entitles you to make full use of the
facilities for the entire day. So you may as well get there early.
The facilities in the water park include a large swimming pool, a
large pool with a variety of slides and a small pool with an
assortment of slides for younger children. There is also a wave
machine and a small circuit for water rafting.

The different water
slides available offer fun and entertainment for people of all ages
with slides ranging from the small ones for toddlers through to
larger constructions for the more adventurous. There are also sun
beds available where you can top up your tan while the kids play.

The staff are very friendly
and helpful and the water park complies with Turkish safety
standards.
About 30km from
Alanya, is the AquaPark/WaterPlanet
There are 23 Slides
at the Water Planet , some of which have been designed to boost your
adrenalin level to its max. Names include Wild River, Black Hole,
Family Slide, Open Slide, Multi Slide, Hillside Slide, Camicaze,

There is a 350
metre river rafting course with artificial waves where you can
battle against the current. For kids, there is the Animation pool,
The Galleon, Submarine, Swan, Elephant, Tree Houses and a Kids Park.
And, of course
there are a number of cafes and bars where you can relax with
refreshments.
